Dear Customer,

Since the cafe opened in November 2005 it has built its reputation on serving gourmet sandwiches, coffee in a continental style and excellent Sunday brunches.

We are now pleased to introduce evening openings. Pates, delicious soups, homemade tarts, fresh fish, tasty stews and casseroles, salads and pasta dishes are all available.

A selection of fine beers and wines from the regions traversed by the Trans-Europe Express will be on offer for your enjoyment.

The cafe was designed and created by Tony Sinclair and John Jensen with technical assistance from Ladislav Opiela. Photographs by Grant Thistle. The Cafe’s Chef is Justin Kyle.

At Trans-Europe Cafe we provide a selection of newspapers and board games. The cafe is an intimate space that is available for private functions.
